Since the beginning of the year, Kyrgyzstan imported 504,500 tons of oil products. The Association of Oil Traders of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to its data, 234,000 tons of gasoline and 270,500 tons of diesel fuel have been imported to the republic. At the beginning of July, the commodity fuel balances amounted to about 84,000 tons of oil products, including approximately 43,000 tons of gasoline and 41,000 tons of diesel fuel. According to the indicative balance for 2018, at least 410,000 tons of gasoline, 335,000 tons of diesel fuel, 100,000 tons of jet fuel and 450,000 tons of oil are envisaged for duty-free supply from Russia to Kyrgyzstan.

«But taking into account the current import rates, exceeding the last year’s by 12 percent, the volume planned is not enough to supply the republic with oil products till the end of the year. Diesel fuel volumes can be exhausted for 8 months, gasoline and jet fuel — for 10 months. At the same time, the sample of the crude oil quota remains at the zero level. Supplies of raw materials from Russia to local refineries have not been arranged,» the association summed up.
