Kyrgyzstani won silver medal at the European Cup in modern pentathlon. The head coach of the national team of the Kyrgyz Republic Victor Maltsev informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the competitions took place in Tbilisi (Georgia). At least 20 participants fought for the victory among the girls. The only representative of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ekaterina Tareva, took the second place.
«In addition to the medals, the athletes received the rating points needed to participate in the forthcoming Youth Olympic Games. Ekaterina significantly replenished her points reserve,» said Victor Maltsev. «About a month ago, she showed good results at the Asian Championship. I declare with 99 percent confidence that she will have a license for the Olympic Games. We are waiting for confirmation of this soon.»
