Fire in Leningrad region. Embassy finds out circumstances

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and the office of the State Migration Service find out the circumstances of the fire in Leningrad region, in which a Kyrgyz citizen was killed and her relative was injured. The press service of the diplomatic mission reported.

According to it, employees of the Embassy and the State Migration Service met with representatives of law enforcement agencies and doctors of the hospital.

Husband of the deceased is suspected of the arson. He was detained for 48 hours. A criminal case has been opened, an investigation is underway.

The body of the deceased Kyrgyzstani M. Asangulova is planned to be sent to Bishkek on June 27.

The Embassy noted that the second victim was taken to the city hospital with burns of 80 % of the body. «In the opinion of a resuscitator, there is hope for recovery, as the man is young,» the embassy said.

Russian media the day before reported that a man from Kyrgyzstan burned two people in a shopping pavilion in Shlisselburg town, Leningrad region.
