First holidaymakers from Uzbekistan go to Issyk-Kul by train

The first 150 vacationers left Uzbekistan by train Tashkent - Bishkek - Balykchi. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, a regular transport link on this route was launched on March 22, 2018 after an 8 -year break. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan and the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan organized trips of the staff of large industrial enterprises and organizations from all regions of the neighboring republic to have a rest in resorts on Issyk-Kul Lake.    

The passenger train of the Uzbek railway Tashkent - Balykchi runs from March 22 once a week.

The cost of a ticket from Bishkek to Tashkent in a car with reserved seats is from 2,500 soms, in a compartment car - from 3,378 soms, in a luxury car - from 6,432 soms.

The train departs from Tashkent on Thursdays, and arrives in Bishkek and Balykchy on Fridays. It departs from Balykchy and Bishkek on Saturdays.
