Officers of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes detained a truck driver, who smuggled fruit and nuts from Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the agency reported.
Dried fruit and nuts without accompanying documents were found when inspecting the cargo compartment of the truck.
The total average market cost of the detained goods amounted to more than 800,000 soms.
A criminal case was opened under the Article «Smuggling» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
