New deputies take oath at session of Parliament

Two new deputies — Baktybek Turusbekov and Tariel Zhorobekov — took the oath at the session of the Parliament today.

Baktybek Turusbekov came from Bir Bol party instead of Igor Chudinov, who was deprived of his seat.

Ex-prime minister was found guilty within the criminal case against Karganbek Samakov and was accused of illegal transformation of 262 hectares of land. Igor Chudinov was fined for 5 million soms. After the entry into force of the verdict, he lost his deputy seat.

Baktybek Turusbekov previously worked as the head of the Economic Development Department of the Bishkek City Administration.

Tariel Zhorobekov came to the Parliament instead of Bolotbek Ibraimzhanov, who voluntarily abandoned his seat as a deputy of Respublika-Ata Jurt faction. He was appointed the head of the State Migration Service.

Tariel Zhorobekov headed Dolono rural administration of Talas district, had worked as a veterinarian for more than 25 years. In 2014, he nominated himself for the election of a head of Talas district.
