The development of Ishtamberdi gold field in Ala-Buka district was suspended. The Department of Internal Affairs for Jalal-Abad region reported.
According to its data, a commission came to the site after the rally of local residents, which found minor shortcomings in the development of the field. In addition, a criminal case was initiated under the Article «Hooliganism» on the penetration of local residents into the territory of the gold deposit.
Recall, local residents held a rally with the requirement to stop development of the field till the issues related to ecology are resolved.
