A foundation pit for a new commercial object instead of the burnt down building of Bereket is being dug in Osh market in Bishkek. The press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
«Work on the dismantling of the old foundation was completed the day before. The expertise of the Institute of Seismology showed that the foundation was irreversibly damaged by the fire, it does not comply with safety standards and is not suitable for further operation,» the City Administration noted.
According to Leninsky District Administration, Bereket CJSC plans to begin construction of a new building in the shortest possible time.
The Bishkek City Administration promises that upon completion of the construction all entrepreneurs affected by the fire will receive retail space on a preferential basis with the first six months at no cost.
The City Administration allocated for the retailers temporary shopping areas and provided them with material assistance.
