Taxi accident in Moscow. Kyrgyzstani searched for extremist materials

The representative office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia keeps in contact with the investigative bodies and relatives of the detained taxi driver, a Kyrgyz citizen, who hit pedestrians in Moscow. The press service of the ministry reported.

Recall, on June 16, the Kyrgyz citizen rammed pedestrians in the center of Moscow.

«The 28-year-old Chyngiz is a native of Jalal-Abad region. He has been living legally in Russia with his wife for more than three years. Before starting his work in taxi service, he worked as a cook in one of the cafes. Colleagues have characterized him positively. According to the investigation, the driver lost control of the car. Before the accident, he worked all night long and could fall asleep at the wheel. All versions are being considered,» the Interior Ministry said.

Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs met with the driver’s relatives. According to them, he goes to one of the sports clubs, participates in competitions. He has been working in the taxi service for about two months, he has no contact with any questionable or extremist organizations.

According to preliminary data, no prohibited materials were found during the search at the taxi driver’s place of residence. Employees of the representative office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation provide him with legal, advisory and other assistance.
