In January-April, migrants have transferred $ 700.5 million to Kyrgyzstan. The National Bank of the country reported.
Compared to the same period in 2017, the volume of transfers grew by $ 85.4 million.
In April, money transfers amounted to $ 204.5 million. Most of the money ($ 200.5 million) were transferred from Russia. The remittances from the USA amounted to $ 2.2 million.
At least $ 150.1 million were sent to other countries from Kyrgyzstan for four months. Thus, the net inflow of remittances amounted to $ 550.4 million.
