Chess champions of Kyrgyzstan named

Chess champions of the country among players under 20 were determined. Chess-results.com website reported.

The tournament took place in Bishkek. Five female athletes competed for victory. They played on a round robin system. The top three were Diana Omurbekova (3.5 points), Zairbek kyzy Begimai (3 points) and Zarina Usupbekova (2.5 points).

At least 12 players competed among the young men. Ruslan Syezdbekov (6 points) took the 1^st place, Nurmat Azhigulov — the 2^nd, and Tagir Taalaibekov (both have 5.5 points) — the 3^rd.

One of the main tasks of the tournament was to choose the best chess players for participation in the upcoming World and Asia Championships.
