Last night, heavy rain resulted in a mudflow in several villages of Ton district, Issyk-Kul region. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
As a result, 5.5 hectares of agricultural land in Kok-Sai village, a road in Toguz-Bulak village were flooded along with the yards of 32 residential houses. A mudflow protection dam was also partially washed away in Ak-Sai village.
Rescuers, road workers and local residents were involved in elimination of the consequences of the mudflow. Banks strengthening work was carried out.
