The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov made a working trip to Moscow, where he took part in the opening of the World Cup at the invitation of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
According to the press service of the president, Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with Vladimir Putin and discussed with him topical issues of bilateral nature and cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
In addition, the head of state met with representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Russia and representatives of the Moscow search group Obelisk. They handed him over a locket, a buckle from a belt and a medal «Stepping into immortality» of a soldier from Alai district of Osh region, Baltabay Boroshev, who died during the Great Patriotic War.
The President Sooronbai Jeenbekov took part in the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup, which was attended by leaders of several countries.
