The border patrol unit of Lyailyak border detachment detained two citizens of Tajikistan, who tried to illegally export 4.2 tons of fuel from Kyrgyzstan. The Public Relations and Media Department of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Two vehicles with fuel were detained near Iskhak Razzakov village in Lyailyak district, a hundred meters from the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border. Drivers tried to enter Tajikistan outside the border checkpoint.
«At least 4.2 tons of engine oil for diesel engines were found in the trucks. Citizens of Tajikistan did not have documents for the cargo. The detainees paid an administrative fine,» the State Border Service noted.
