Emergency situation regime introduced in Lyailyak district due to mudflows

An emergency situation regime was introduced in Lyailyak district of Batken region of Kyrgyzstan due to mudflows. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The necessary assistance was rendered to the affected by the natural disaster.

As a result of mudflows, 16 houses, a kindergarten, 112 land plots, 27 kilometers of roads, six bridges have been damaged.

«The Minister of Emergency Situations Nurbolot Mirzakhmedov, 92 rescuers, the ambulance doctors are on duty in the district. Engineering machinery works. Eight tents for 10 people each were allocated for the victims. Material damage is being calculated,» the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.
