Kyrgyzstanis won 12 medals in the Open Cup of Uzbekistan in the track and field athletics. The Track and Field Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan reported.
The competitions took place on June 9 and June 10 in Tashkent. More than 560 athletes participated in it. Kyrgyzstan’s team won six gold, five silver and one bronze medals.
Dzhamal Musaev (100 meters), Musulman Zholomanov (800 and 1,500 meters) and Aitpai uulu Berdigul (10,000 meters) won gold medals. Zhoodar Kochkonbaev (5,000 meters) won a silver medal. Kyrgyzstan also won silver in 4 × 400 meters relay. Daniyar Arynbekov took a bronze medal in 3,000 meters race with obstacles.
Arina Kleschukova (800 meters) and the team won gold among women in 4 × 400 meters relay among women. Anna Bulanova took the second place at the distances of 100 and 200 meters. Kyrgyzstan won one more silver award in 4 × 100 meters race.
