The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev, during his working trip to Naryn region, got acquainted with the reconstruction of Ak-Talchat bridge in Ak-Tala district. The Information Support Department of the Government’s Executive Office reported.
The length of the bridge, built 51 years ago, is 141 meters. In April 2017, the flooding of the bridge’s supports was revealed.
Residents of the nearest settlements asked to speed up the bridge repair and carry out bank strengthening work along Naryn river.
Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev stressed that Ak-Talchat bridge is an important transport hub in the internal communication of the region. He instructed the Ministry of Transport to complete the construction until June 15, 2018.
