President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov left for China with a state visit at the invitation of Xi Jinping, the President of China.
During the visit, the head of state will meet with the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the Premier of the State Council Li Keqiang and theChairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu.
It is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents. The main political document will be the Joint Declaration of Kyrgyzstan and the PRC on the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
On June 9-10, Sooronbai Jeenbekov will take part in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which will be held in Qingdao. The Chinese side will complete the presidency of the Council of Heads of State of SCO and will hand it over to Kyrgyzstan.
