Pensions excluded from aggregate family income in Kyrgyzstan

All types of pensions will be excluded from an aggregate family income when setting allowances for low- income families in Kyrgyzstan from July 1. The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development, Zhyldyz Polotova, told today at a press conference.

According to her, 351,100 people receive allowances, 264,400 people — as low-income families, and 86,700 — social allowances.

In Kyrgyzstan, the average amount of the low-income family allowance is 876.4 soms, social allowance — 2,350.6 soms.

«At least 1,477.3 billion soms were allocated for the payment of state allowances from the budget. About 830.3 million soms were spent on payment of allowances to low-income families, and social allowances — 647 million,» Zhyldyz Polotova said.
