In 2018, the State Customs Service plans to collect 43.2 billion soms in taxes and duties. Its Chairman, Almaz Onolbekov, told today at a press conference.
According to him, plan for duties in 2018 is 39.8 billion soms. In comparison with 2017, it was increased by 5.6 billion. However, the State Customs Service set the task to exceed it by 3.4 billion and collect customs duties by 9 billion soms more than in 2017.
«A strategy for the development of the customs service has been drawn up, and measures to automate work processes in the service have been chosen. Thanks to this, we will reduce the costs and expenses of participants in foreign economic activity. In addition, we will strengthen the fight against the violation of the customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union,» Almaz Onolbekov stressed.
