Three Olympic champions receive a lifelong allowance in Kyrgyzstan. The Director of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports, Marat Amankulov, told at a meeting of SDPK parliamentary faction.
Kanybek Osmonaliev receives 20,000 soms a month, Kanat Begaliev — 17,000 soms, Ruslan Tyumenbaev — 15,000 soms.
According to Amankulov, in 2017, more than 12 million soms were allocated for allowances to 256 athletes. At least 15 million soms were budgeted this year.
At the same time, the salary of coaches is from 4,400 to 8,000 soms per month, the head of the agency noted.
