The final charges within the case on the modernization of Bishkek Heating and Power Plant will be brought after the end of inspections. Damir Sagynbaev, Secretary of the Security Council, stated at a press conference.
He recalled that at present five cases are being investigated. The first was opened in January under the Article «Negligence.» In the course of operational and investigative measures, three more criminal cases were instituted on corruption manifestations in the procurement of inventory items. The last case was filed on the construction of a school at the expense of grant funds.
«The Chamber of Accounts and judicial expert services conduct inspections on all the cases. Final charges against the former officials will be brought at the end of the checks. We can say with confidence that all the cases will be brought to a logical conclusion, the perpetrators will be punished,» Damir Sagynbaev assured.
