The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek granted the investigator’s request and authorized the arrest of Andrey Goikhman until the end of investigation. Andrey Goikhman was placed in the pretrial detention center. The banker is suspected of abuse of authority by employees of commercial or other organizations.
Recall, the commission set up by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on VAT refunding and reimbursement, according to investigators, made illegal decisions on the return of VAT to certain private companies. Damage to the state is estimated at 847.4 million soms. A criminal case was opened on the fact.
