At least 31 houses and 34 industrial objects were damaged by mudflows in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the government reported.
The day before, the Vice Prime Minister, Zhenish Razakov, got acquainted with the process of elimination of the consequences of mudflows in Lyailyak district. The Vice Prime Minister examined houses and social facilities in Chimgen and Beshbala villages, the flooded bridge and dams.
Zhenish Razakov promised the people, whose houses have been insured, that they would get compensations in accordance with the established procedure.
«The issue of assistance to victims, who did not insure their houses, will be considered individually. At the same time, the responsibility of residents, who refused to move from potentially dangerous areas, exposing their lives and the lives of their relatives to danger, will be also considered,» said Zhenish Razakov.
The Vice Prime Minister added that the government would discuss the issue of reconstruction of the bridge and the dams.
