The Supreme Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Maksatbek azhi Toktomushev congratulated the Kyrgyzstanis on the beginning of the holy month Ramadan. The press service of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Maksat azhi Toktomushev noted that this is the time for the remission of all sins and charity.
«This month you can ask for forgiveness from those whom you offended. This time is also intended to strengthen peace and mutual understanding in the society,» the greeting says.
Starting from today, the Muslims will fast for 30 days.
