Kyrgyzstan's PM comes out for decentralization of public administration

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev came out for decentralization of public administration. He announced this at a government meeting the day before.

According to him, the heads of districts and regions have limited powers. «Therefore, they can not solve many questions. We must strengthen the work of local authorities for the development of the regions,» the head of the Cabinet said.

The government intends to draw up a program for the development of regions, which will determine the priority areas of the economy of each region.
