New collectible coins issued in Kyrgyzstan by anniversary of som

Two collectible coins have been issued in Kyrgyzstan by the anniversary of som. The Chairman of the National Bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov told today at a press conference.

According to him, the National Bank put into circulation a copper-nickel collectible coin «25th anniversary of the national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic» from the series «Historical events» and a silver collectible coin «Komuz» from the series «National musical instruments.»

The coin «25th anniversary of the national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic» was issued to promote the most important historical events, related to the development of Kyrgyz statehood.

The main plot of the front side of the coin is the image of the first banknote with the nominal value of 1 tyiyn and the highest denomination banknote — 5,000 soms. Its upper part has an inscription «Kyrgyz Respublikansynyn uluttuk valyutasyna-25 zhyl,» the bottom — its denomination and som sign.

The center of the reverse side of the coin includes the coat of arms of Kyrgyzstan, along the circumference there is a nominal number of circulating coins: 1, 10, 50 tyiyns and 1, 3, 5, 10 soms. Its lower part contains its year of issue — 2018.

The coin was issued with a circulation of 5,000 pieces. Its price is 500 soms.

The coin «Komuz» was issued to promote the spiritual and cultural values ​​of the Kyrgyz people.

Komuz is depicted on its front side. In the central part — its value: 10 soms. Its left side has the name of the coin «Komuz,» as well as the metal rate (Ag 925 °), to the right — the name in Latin letters Komuz and the weight of the coin (28.28 grams).

The reverse side contains the coat of arms of Kyrgyzstan at the top. In the center — a komuz player framed by a stylized image of a musical instrument. The year of issue (2018) is below it, on the left — the vertical inscription «Uluttuk muzykalyk aspaptar.»

The silver coin «Komuz» was issued with a circulation of 1,000 copies, its price is 2,905 soms.
