Almost 200 drunk drivers detained in Kyrgyzstan on May 9

At least 196 drivers were detained for drunk driving in Kyrgyzstan on May 9. The press service of the Main Directorate of the Road Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

In general, 2,128 drivers were held administratively liable. At least 369 of them were fined for speeding, 143 — for non-compliance with traffic signs, 25 — for driving a vehicle without proper documents, 382 — for use of mobile phone while driving, five of them did not obey the requirements of law enforcement officers.
