Hot water supply will be suspended in the capital from May 21 until June 21. The press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
The mayor of the city, Albek Ibraimov, signed an order on hot water shut-off.
«The shut-off is caused by annual maintenance works and to ensure the qualitative preparation of heat networks and heat consumption systems for the heating season,» the city administration noted.
Earlier, hot water in Bishkek was turned off on May 10. However, the city administration decided to postpone the planned work for a later period, allegedly, at the request of the residents. However, many townspeople opposed this decision.
