In connection with the activation of online services and online stores in Kyrgyzstan, the flow of parcels coming from abroad has increased. Most of them come from Russia, China, the US and Germany. The State Registration Service reported.
In 2017, the number of incoming shipments (small packages) reached 170,400 that is 60,000 more than in 2016. The weight equivalent is 78 tons.
In 2017, the State Registration Service opened four pilot e-commerce centers, where everyone could learn how to order from the world’s online markets free of charge.
«The project informed the public about the possibility to quickly, securely and safely acquire various goods through online stores without overpayment. Specialists trained people in the choice of goods, how independently, without leaving home, place an order, and got them acquainted with payment systems. The project was carried out for the first time,» the SRS noted.
