At least 122 facts of violation of the rules of hunting, poaching and destruction of the plant world have been registered since the beginning of the year. The State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to its data, violators of environmental legislation (poachers) were fined for 211,300 soms, and 183,600 were recovered. The lawsuits were filed for 1,853 million, and 1,446,591 soms were collected. Firearms were confiscated from 34 violators of the hunting rules.
Workers of the forest protection department of the state agency revealed 58 facts of violation of environmental legislation, including 39 facts of illegal tree cutting. According to the agency, 138 trees were felled. The sum collected on 39 materials amounted to 130,800 soms.
