Athletes from 104 countries have been invited to the 3rd World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. The Director of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanat Amankulov informed 24.kg news agency.
He commented on the results of the board meeting of the agency, where, among other issues, preparation for the 3rd WNG was considered. «The upcoming games will be held on the same sites as the previous ones. On May 10, we together with the sports federations will visit places of competitions and accommodation of the sportsmen. We will see what needs to be done before the beginning of the Word Nomad Games,» said Kanat Amankulov.
According to him, there are 37 sports in the 3rd World Nomad Games program (the last time there were 24). «There are no special problems in terms of preparation. Finances are allocated on time. The budget of the sports component of the games is 139 million soms. The amount includes the organization of competitions, food and accommodation of the athletes, prizes, logistics,» said Kanat Amankulov. «The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent invitations to 104 countries. I think that athletes from more than 60 countries will take part in the Games.»
