Prime Minister demands concrete proposals on Smart City project

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev at a working meeting with the participation of the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Committee for National Security asked to make concrete proposals for the phased installation of photo and video surveillance systems in the framework of the Smart City project in Bishkek and Osh. The Public Relations and Mass Media Department of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

«The project should be implemented according to a single standard, as transparent as possible, taking into account the experience of foreign countries and be clear for ordinary citizens,» the prime minister stressed.

The Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kashkar Dzhunushaliev and Сhairman of the State Сommittee for National Security Idris Kadyrkulov presented to the head of the government information about the social, political and criminal situation in the country, the progress in investigation of the resonant criminal cases on arson at a gold processing plant in Toguz-Toro district, fires in large markets in Bishkek and Jalal- Abad.

The society has serious complaints against the law enforcement bodies, including corruption. Only professional and not discredited employees should be involved in the work.

The head of government noted that all those involved in these cases should be brought to responsibility. He ordered to study in detail all the circumstances and organize a working meeting on compliance with safety rules in large markets of the country.
