Kyrgyzstanis won three gold medals at the World Championship among professionals in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The International Jiu-Jitsu Federation reported.
Competitions took place on April 16-28 in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
Akylbek Zholdoshbekov became the champion among the young men in weight of 66 kg. In the semi-finals he defeated the representative of Tajikistan, and in the decisive battle — the Ukrainian.
Abdulmuslim Gadzhiyev became the leader in weight of 73 kg in the same age group. He defeated the athletes from the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Zair Rozmatov was the best among the men in 56 kg category, winning the representatives of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Russia.
Malika Bootaeva won a silver medal among women in weight of 62 kg. She defeated two athletes from the UAE and lost to Kazakhstan.
