Meeting of the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of SDPK, Almazbek Atambayev, with deputies of the parliament from the Social Democrats faction ended in Ala-Archa state residence. The leader of the faction Isa Omurkulov informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, this was the first large meeting of members of the parliamentary faction with their party leader, as earlier Almazbek Atambayev, being the head of state, could not hold it in such a format — he had to meet with all factions of the Parliament.
«The conversation was about inner-party affairs, our plans, our work,» said Isa Omurkulov.
He told that Almazbek Atambayev paid special attention to party building and solidarity in the ranks of the SDPK.
According to Isa Omurkulov, the ex-president of the country sets one goal — the interests of the state and the development of parliamentary democracy. Almazbek Atambayev called on fellow party members to follow his example.
Almazbek Atambayev did not raise any personal issue, did not hint at any personal interests, did not express any personal requests. The whole conversation was only about the interests of the state, party work.
