The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium Asein Isaev told reporters what priorities in foreign policy Sooronbai Jeenbekov set and who specially returned to Brussels to talk with him.
According to Asein Isaev, the president of Kyrgyzstan sets the priorities of foreign policy by his visits.
First visits were paid to the neighboring countries — Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan. Now the priorities on foreign countries are being set.
«Visit to Turkey has already taken place. Meetings are held in Brussels. There will be talks with all four main leaders of the European Union. In the future, a visit to China is planned,» told Asein Isaev.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov has already met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini. During the day, negotiations with the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Council President Donald Tusk and the European Parliament President Antonio Tajani will take place.
The meeting with the President of the European Parliament was scheduled for April 11. However, Antonio Tajani was forced to leave, but he returned to Brussels specially for the meeting with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
