The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov left for Brussels. He headed for the European Union country from Turkey, where he was with an official visit.
As part of his visit to the EU institutions, the President is to meet with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Council President Donald Tusk and the European Parliament President Antonio Tajani.
The President of Kyrgyzstan plans to establish personal contacts with the leadership of the EU. Currently, negotiations between Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the European Union on the conclusion of a new long-term cooperation agreement are underway.
