Civil activist Adilet Baltabaev wrote an appeal to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with a request to take the case of a killed on the border Kyrgyzstani under personal control. He informed 24.kg news agency.
According to the activist, in the appeal he asks the head of Uzbekistan to assist in an impartial investigation of the tragic accident. «The deceased is my classmate. According to his brother, on the day of his death he went home from his aunt. On the border, a serviceman of Uzbekistan shot him dead. We tried to observe the diplomatic language rules in the appeal not to violate the principles of good-neighborliness. I handed the appeal to the embassy employee,» told Adilet Baltabaev.
Recall, on April 7, Uzbekistan’s border guards shot a Kyrgyz citizen, a resident of Kurulush village in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad region, dead. The 34-year-old man at the time of the incident was on the territory of Kyrgyzstan and headed towards Mamai settlement.
