Sooronbai Jeenbekov invites Roza Otunbayeva to take part in events on April 7

Tomorrow, the President of Kyrgyzstan will take part in several events on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of April 7 events. Press service of the head of state reported.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov will take part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the memory wall to the victims of April 2010 events in the memorial complex Ata-Beyit.

Ex-presidents of the country Almazbek Atambayev and Roza Otunbayeva were invited to the events.

Relatives of the victims, participants of April 7, 2010 events, deputies of the Parliament, members of the government, heads of other state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic and representatives of the public will participate in the ceremony.

On the same day, Sooronbai Jeenbekov will lay flowers at the Monument to the memory of the people, who died for the people’s freedom during the Aksy events of 2002 and the April events of 2010 on Ala-Too Square.

Recall, ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva after August 31, 2016 did not participate in any of the official events with the participation of the top officials of the state.

At the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence Day, Almazbek Atambayev subjected Roza Otunbayeva to sharp criticism.
