Parliamentary faction Ata Meken demands to check the Department of Presidential Affairs, which at the expense of the ex-president Almazbek Atambayev built a dacha on the territory of the state residence Ala-Archa. The deputy Kanybek Imanaliev said this at a meeting of the faction today.
According to the Deputy Prosecutor General Bokonbai Kazakov, there are no documents on the financing of the construction of the dacha at the expense of Almazbek Atambayev in the supervisory body.
Almazbek Atambayev himself commented on the construction of the dacha in the state residence.
«The dacha in the state residence is my gift to the country,» Chairman of SDPK Almazbek Atambayev said at a press conference, responding to a question from 24.kg news agency.
The former head of state said that the dacha in Ala-Archa was built using his personal money.
«According to the law, the state should have built a dacha for me, like for Rosa Otunbayeva and the others. But since there were no free funds and not to spend budget money, I gave it out of my pocket. So to say, this is my gift to the state. When I finish building my house in Koy-Tash, I will move to live there,» he said.

Earlier, the parliament deputy Zhanar Akayev said that today the opposition factions might recognize the report of the Prosecutor General Indira Dzholdubaeva unsatisfactory.
