Despite the scandal with the adoption of Kyrgyz children by foreigners, the administrators of the Chui orphan boarding school continue to work. The Ministry of Education and Science confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
«According to the director of the institution, the deputy principal wrote a statement of resignation at own request, on the basis of which an order for dismissal was issued. However, the order was later canceled by the decision of the regional prosecutor’s office. Currently, the investigative measures continue,» the ministry noted.
Recall, on January 6, two girls from the boarding school (born in 2009 and 2007) without any permits were illegally handed over to foreign citizens. For three days, they, without workers of the authorized bodies, lived together with the foreign strangers in a hotel in Bishkek, although there were candidates for their adoption from Kyrgyzstan, who have a priority right to adopt orphans in our country.
A criminal case was opened.
