The brother of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov — deputy of the Parliament from SDPK faction Asylbek Jeenbekov — was not invited to the congress of the political organization. Sources in the Parliament informed 24.kg news agency.
SDPK headquarters confirmed the information, noting that the decision to delegate party members was taken by its primary organizations. It is specified that district conferences of the party were held throughout the republic, where the delegates of the forthcoming congress were determined.
It became known that deputies of the Parliament from the faction of the Social Democrats Zhanar Akayev and Iskender Matraimov would not also take part in the work of SDPK forum.
The former deputy of the Parliament Meerbek Miskenbayev was also excluded from the list of delegates of SDPK congress.
Meerbek Miskenbayev earlier demanded from the brother of the head of state Asylbek Jeenbekov to abandon his deputy seat.
Recall, according to legislation, the current president of the country Sooronbai Jeenbekov suspended membership in SDPK party. He will also not attend the congress.
The forum of social democrats will be held tomorrow, on March 31, in the capital’s Orion Hotel. The congress will be held behind closed doors for the press. One issue on the agenda is the election of the party leader. No one doubts that it will be the ex-president of the country.
It is expected that Almazbek Atambayev will answer all questions of journalists.
