Survival of tree saplings, allocated earlier by forestry, will be monitored in Kyrgyzstan. The State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry reported.
From 2012 to 2017, forestry enterprises have allocated 9,843.4 million tree saplings for landscaping of settlements. Their allocation continues today.
The department plans to involve the State Ecological Inspectorate in order to check the survival and preservation of greenery. In the case of a low survival rate of the saplings, measures will be taken in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The state agency noted that a three-month landscaping campaign is held every year from February 20 to May 20 throughout the republic.
