The President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Kemerovo and laid a bouquet of roses to the spontaneous memorial near the burned down shopping center Winter Cherry. Izvestia reported.
According to the latest information, the number of killed in the fire in Winter Cherry reached 64. Bodies of about 20 people have been identified. DNA testing is needed for the identification of all the victims.
The fire in the four-story shopping center Winter Cherry in Kemerovo occurred on March 25. The fire source located on the top floor, where several cinemas and children’s playgrounds with amusement rides were located. The tenant of the premises, where the epicenter of the fire was supposed to be, and the head of the management company, serving the shopping center building, were detained within the criminal case.
