Kyrgyzstani Myktybek Orolbai uulu became the world champion among youth in mixed martial arts (MMA). The official website of the World MMA Association reported.
The World Championship took place on March 24-25 in St. Petersburg (Russia). Participants were amateur wrestlers from nine countries, including four Kyrgyzstanis.
Myktybek Orolbai uulu competed in the weight category up to 77.1 kilograms. He had two fights: he defeated the Chinese Meng Hao Ma and the Belarusian Ilya Kygach.
In addition, Kyrgyz citizens Murodilzhon Tursinov (up to 56.7 kg) and Janysh Uraim uulu (up to 70.3 kg) won silver medals. Adilet Adiev (up to 65.8 kg) won bronze.
