The First Deputy Prime Minister Askarbek Shadiev was interrogated in the State Committee for National Security. The press service of the committee confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
The official was interrogated within the criminal case on misappropriation of budget money using forged documents by the head of the department of the parliamentary committee on international affairs, defense and security Arsen Zakirov.
He was detained after checking and opening of criminal case under the articles «Misappropriation or embezzlement of entrusted property» and «Forging, manufacture, sale or use of forged documents, state awards, stamps, seals, forms» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. In particular, the check was carried out on the fact of embezzlement of more than 2 million soms from the budget of the Parliament.
