At least 60 large seedlings of mountain ash were planted in the 8th microdistrict of the capital. The Bishkek City Council reported.
The garden, covering 1,500 square meters, was opened by the Bishkek Council staff, headed by its chairman Almaz Kenenbaev.
«The ecological campaign is very important from the point of view of the natural ecosystem. Bringing of our beloved city in order every spring and autumn should become one of the good traditions of our society. The idea is not just to revive the mountain ash garden, but to make this place a green oasis,» Almaz Kenenbaev said.
The Chief Agronomist of Zelenkhoz municipal enterprise Elnura Zholdosheva noticed that mountain ash is a very beautiful tree, especially when it blooms. The trees will be irrigated till they take roots.
