Leader of the Social Democrats Isa Omurkulov said that people’s deputies gathered before the holiday.
«There is nothing secret. They just decided to gather before the holiday,» Isa Omurkulov told journalists.
He also denied the information that the agenda included possible deprivation of Asylbek Jeenbekov of his deputy mandate.
Asylbek Jeenbekov suggested to address the question about his mandate to Meerbek Miskenbayev, Chairman of the Public Movement Aikol Ala-Too.
On March 17, he stated that the brother of the president of Kyrgyzstan must abandon his deputy mandate. Sooronbai Jeenbekov should not allow the return of nepotism in power. He stated it at a rally in memory of those killed in 2002 in Aksy.
The meeting of the SDPK faction was attended by the former head of the Presidential Administration of Sooronbai Jeenbekov, member of the political council of the party, Farid Niyazov.
