A few more avalanches descended on Bishkek-Osh road on March 15. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
A snow avalanche with the volume of 480 cubic meters came down at the 222nd kilometer. The site was cleared. Other two avalanches of 1,000 and 1,800 cubic meters descended at the 226th and the 221st km of the road. No casualties were reported.
Recall, an avalanche of 2.5 million cubic meters came down on March 13 at the 246th kilometer of the road. At least 144,000 cubic meters of snow blocked the roadway. It was closed for three days for clearing.
150 cargo and 46 cars accumulated at Sosnovka post, 59 cars and 24 large trucks — at Aral post, 5 trucks and 10 cars — in Talas district, Taldy-Bulak village.
