The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov, at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, headed with a working trip for Astana to participate in the first consultative meeting of the heads of Central Asian states. Press service of the head of state reported.
The presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will meet there. Adoption of a joint declaration of the heads of state is expected on the results of the meeting.
A bilateral meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev is also to take place. The two heads of state will discuss topical issues of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations.
